Wyndham Clark chugs booze from trophy at Los Angeles hotspot after US Open win

Wyndham Clark kept the U.S. Open celebration going deep into the night on Sunday.

The 29-year-old, who won last weekend’s major at Los Angeles Country Club by one stroke, was seen at LA hotspot Delilah chugging beer out of his trophy, as captured on video obtained by TMZ Sports.

The video, which appeared to be taken from below the table, shows Clark pumping his fists in the air and egging on the crowd, before he takes a sip from the trophy.

Clark finished off his first major victory — and second overall win on the PGA Tour — by taking down Rory McIlroy on the final day of the tournament, clearing the four-time major winner by one stroke as he made par on the final hole.

The Oklahoma State product celebrated his historic victory with several of his family members on the 18th green at LACC, as well as his girlfriend, Alicia.

Some minor controversy has developed since his win, with some fans claiming that Clark moved his ball while setting up a chip shot during the final round and should have been assessed a one-stroke penalty.

However, the rules officials either didn’t see the infraction, or decided it didn’t move enough to warrant a penalty.

Clark will be among the golfers to tee it up this weekend at the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn., as he hopes to follow up his massive win with another at an elevated event.

Let’s just hope he’s not too hungover by Thursday.
