A woman was found stabbed to death inside her Staten Island home after she had been fighting with her boyfriend, police said.
Evelin Barajas Perez, 23, was arguing with her beau inside the multi-family home on Van Name Avenue near Forest Avenue in Mariners Harbor just after 10 p.m. Wednesday when a friend heard the commotion and called 911 for a wellness check, police said.
Responding police found Barajas Perez with multiple stab wounds to her body, authorities said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A knife was recovered, but no arrests had been made as of Thursday morning.
