‘The Show’ Episode 85: Hall of Fame Reaction, Aaron Boone Talks Yankees Offseason

Adrian Beltre, Joe Mauer and Todd Helton are now members of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

All three are very much deserving of being in Cooperstown. But who fell short? Who may have been a major snub? Who might get in next year?

Two Hall of Fame voters, Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman, give their reactions to the inductees and the snubs, on the latest episode of “The Show” podcast.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone also joins the guys to talk about their offseason additions and how the team is shaking out as spring training approaches.

‘The Show’ podcast with Joel Sherman & Jon Heyman:

  • HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES: Breaking down Adrian Beltre, Joe Mauer and Todd Helton getting inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
  • HALL OF FAME SNUBS: Going through the guys who did not get in, including Billy Wagner, who missed by just five votes. Does Wagner deserve to get in? They both don’t think he should get in. Why didn’t Carlos Beltran get in? They both believe he should.

  • JUAN SOTO: They now have two of the best hitters in the baseball. He can hit two or three. It will depend how leadoff position shakes out.
