Warriors vs. Spurs prediction: NBA odds, picks, best bets for Monday

The Spurs return home from a three-game NBA road trip as they face the Warriors on Monday night at Frost Bank Center.

Rookie star Victor Wembanyama sat out Saturday’s victory over the Warriors in San Francisco due to an ankle injury, but is expected to suit up Monday.

The Spurs finished off the road swing with a 126-113 triumph over Golden State as 12.5-point underdogs. San Antonio pretty much led the entire game in spite of Wembanyama missing the game, while Warriors’ star Stephen Curry also missed the game due to an ankle sprain.

Keldon Johnson scored 22 points off the bench for the Spurs, who knocked down 17 of 33 3-pointers.

Curry will likely be out again Monday as the Warriors look to snap a two-game losing streak. Golden State had won eight consecutive road contests before getting blown out at Boston last Sunday, 140-88.

The Spurs have covered the spread in seven of the past nine games, which includes beating the Thunder and Pacers outright as home underdogs.

The Warriors embark on a three-game road trip that continues in Dallas on Wednesday before heading to Los Angeles on Saturday to face the Lakers.
